Observation: The alkalinity was tested and measured at 71 ppm during the time of inspection. Public Health Significance - Hot tub alkalinity must be maintained at a level between 80-120 ppm to prevent the formation of cloudy water that can implicate the safety of pool patrons.
Corrective Action: Raise and maintain the alkalinity concentration in the hot tub to an acceptable level.
303  Critical Improper Condition Causing Suction or Entrapment Hazard
Observation: Screws were observed to be missing from the 2 main drain covers within the hot tub. Public Health Significance - The main drain covers must be securely attached to prevent pool patrons from potential drowning and entrapment hazards.
Corrective Action: Ensure screws are placed in all four corners of each main drain cover to ensure it is secured.
