Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Free chlorine measured at 1.4 ppm. [Temp > 30 degrees C]. Combined chlorine measured at 0.8 ppm. TA measured at 60 ppm.
Corrective Action: Adjust pool chemistry so that pool water that is greater than 30 degrees C has a free chlorine of 1.5 ppm (ideally 3-5 ppm in a hot tub). Combined chlorine is at the border line of the maximum allowed concentration (1.0 ppm). Consider superchlorinating to control levels. Total alkalinity should be between 80-120 ppm. Adjust.
305   Improper Maintenance of Pool Surface, Walkways, Floors and/or Construction
Observation: The nose of the steps and sitting ledge is not in a contrasting colour.
Corrective Action: When pool is drained and cleaned (in December), repaint ledges and nose of any/all steps so that they are in a contrasting colour so that they are easily visible.
