Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Pool water chemistry including free available chlorine, total alkalinity and calcium hardness were measured lower than than the recommended range. Public health significance - Low chlorine levels in the hot tub water leads to inadequate disinfection of the pool water leading to spread of waterborne diseases among the patrons. Corrective Action: Operator to adjust the water chemistry and ensure that free available chlorine levels are maintained between 1.5-5 ppm; total alkalinity is maintained between 80-120 ppm and 180-220 ppm for calcium hardness. |
