| 417 | Inadequate maintenance of pool equipment Observation: 1. Skimmer basket has a hole within the base of the basket. The purpose of a skimmer is to remove debris from the top layer of water and to send surface water through the recirculation system. 2. None of the skimmers are fitted with floating weir devices. The floating weir allows one way control of the pool water and debris (scum, lint and hair). Corrective Action: 1. Please replace the broken skimmer basket. 2. Please install floating weirs. *people tear them off - mgmt doesn't want to install (fixed on April 27/07). |
