Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Repeat Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Free available chlorine measured 2.25 PPM, total chlorine measured 3.05 PPM and combined chlorine measured 0.8 PPM. Hot tubs must have a free chlorine level of 3 - 5 PPM at all times. Please submit chemical testing logs each week to PHP@northernhealth.ca. Corrective Action: At the time of inspection, the assistant pool operator was available and indicated that he was adjusting the chlorine at that time. The pool had been drained and cleaned and was now in the process of being balanced. Please maintain the free available chlorine between 3 and 5 PPM |
202 | Non-compliance with Operating Permit Conditions Observation: The certified pool operator was off shift at the time of inspection. Conditions placed on the permit indicate that persons responsible for maintaining the pools must have pool operator training. Corrective Action: Please provide a plan which will set out how staff with pool maintenance responsibility will receive training; please include timelines. |
