Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Alkalinity measured 21 ppm at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action: Raise alkalinity to between 80-120 ppm immediately, and monitor to ensure it remains in this range. Failure to do so will result in uncontrollable pH fluctuations.
205   Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests
Observation: Taylor test kit was observed to be significantly discoloured with black residue. This could result in erroneous measurements of pool chemistry.
Corrective Action: Clean or replace compacitator/tube apparatus.
308   Improper Step and/or Depth Markings
Observation: Steps and ledges are not marked in contrasting colours. This is a repeat infraction.
Corrective Action: Steps and ledges must be tiled in contrasting colours to prevent trips and falls. This must be completed by March 2016 (one year from today's date, March 6, 2015).
401   Note Violation
Observation: Backwash is done 2x per week. This is much too often and will reduce filter efficiacy.
Corrective Action: Backwash only when pressure of filter reaches 10psi greater than pressure immediately following a backwash. Doing backwashes too frequently significantly reduces the filtering efficiency.
