Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
402 | Critical Inadequate pH controls Observation: Due to manual addition of bleach the pH remains excessively high @ approximately 8.5. At this pH only approximately 10% of the chlorine is in a form that disinfects effectively. Poor disinfection increases the risk of transmission of infectious diseases. Corrective Action: Must be corrected. |
403 | Critical Water too cloudy Observation: Pool water clarity could be better. Corrective Action: Reduced clarity may be due to addition of calcium hyprochlorite to pool. |
413 | Critical Other (specify below) Observation: Continued violation of Order issued August/2005 regarding lack of automatic disinfection equipment. August 2005 order stands. Corrective Action: A new Order will be issued as of today to submit plans/drawings of chlorination system to Michael Wu for approval by April 18/06. Installation of approved design by May 2/06. |
417 | Inadequate maintenance of pool equipment Observation: 1. Weirs missing from all 3 skimmer baskets. One skimmer basket was floating up-side-down. 2. Water on pump room floor - duct tape applied to hair/lint strainer connection. Corrective Action: 1. Replace immediately. This item is outstanding from past inspection reports. 2. Repair. |
