101 | Critical Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: During the inspection, the pool water was subjected to testing, revealing a free available chlorine level exceeding 10 ppm, a total chlorine level exceeding 10 ppm, and combined chlorine levels were undetermined. Chlorine levels above 10 ppm can cause skin and eye irritation, dryness, and itchiness. Additionally, it can lead to respiratory problems when the chlorine is inhaled in the form of vapour or mist. skin issues in pool patrons. Corrective Action: The operator was instructed to close the pool and display signage to inform patrons that it is closed. The pool will remain closed until the water chemistry is properly balanced and meets the necessary requirements. Additionally, the operator was asked to provide the water chemistry test results of the pool once it has been balanced. |
