Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: pH was measured to be 8.27. High pH can irritate skin and eyes, cause scaling on the recirculation equipment, cloud the water, and/or reduce the effectiveness of the chlorine disinfectant.
Corrective Action: Adjust the pH to ensure that it is maintained between 7.2 to 7.8 as legislatively required.
101   Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity
Observation: Total alkalinity was measured to be 178 ppm. High total alkalinity can create scaling in recirculating equipment and/or result in cloudy water.
Corrective Action: Adjust the total alkalinity to ensure that it is maintained between 80 to 120 ppm as legislatively required.
305   Improper Maintenance of Pool Surface, Walkways, Floors and/or Construction
Observation: Floating weir missing. [REPEAT VIOLATION]
Corrective Action: Install floating weir. Floating weirs are important for adequate maintenance of the whirlpool; the weirs skim debris/contaminants into the lint and hair strainer and prevents debris from re-entering the whirlpool.
