Corrective Action: Pool operator is aware of the low alkalinity level as they had conducted a chemistry check earlier in the day, and will be adjusting the alkalinity later in the afternoon. Total alkalinity should be maintained between 80-120 ppm to prevent rapid fluctuations in pH, possibly corrosion problems, and/or eye and skin irritation. |
