Observation: Combined chlorine and pH were measured outside the regulatory requirements. Public Health significance - low pH and high combined chlorine can cause eye and skin irritation.
Corrective Action: Adjust the water chemistry so that the combined chlorine and pH are within the regulatory requirements.
103  Critical Repeat Improper Pool Temperature
Observation: Hot tub temperature was measured at 41.6 degrees Celsius during the inspection. Public Health Significance - temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius can lead to heat stroke and other health concerns in pool patrons.
Corrective Action: Reduce water temperature of hot tub below 40 degrees Celsius. Ensure that the temperature of the hot-tub basin is measured on a regular basis.
308   Improper Step and/or Depth Markings
Observation: Nose of steps leading into hot tub are not marked with contrasting colours. Public Health significance - constrasting colours are important to prevent injury or drowning of pool patrons due to misstepping.
Corrective Action: Nose of steps needs to be marked with constrating colours.
