205 | Improper Monitoring of Chemical Paramaters or Safety Tests Observation: When examining the pool water testing records, it was observed that the combine chlorine levels were not being tested regularly and or documented in the records.Pool water must be tested for combined chlorine twice daily. This way operator will be able to make changes to the pool water when the combined chlorine levels go above 1 PPM. Corrective Action: The operator was told to test for combined chlorine twice daily along with the other pool chemistry tests and document the results in pool water testing records. |
302 | Inadequate or Lack of Lifesaving/Safety Equipment Observation: Throwing ring does not have a cord attached to it. Throwing ring is used when in emergency to save a drowning patron in the water Corrective Action: The operator to equip a life saving throwing ring with rope that is half the length of the pool plus three metres. |
305 | Improper Maintenance of Pool Surface, Walkways, Floors and/or Construction Observation: 3 broken tiles were observed on the walkway adjacent to the shower in pool area. Broken tiles may cause injury to feet of pool patrons. Corrective Action: Operator was told to replace the tiles with the new ones. |
