Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description / Observation / Corrective Action
102   Improper Microbiological Pool Water Quality
Observation: pH tested at 7.94 ppm and total alkalinity tested at 30 ppm.Total alkalinity must be maintained in the proper parameters in order to act as a pH buffer.
Corrective Action: pH must be maintained between 7.2 - 7.8, ideally at 7.4. Close the pool and decrease the pH. Pool must remain closed until test results show pH in the proper parameters. Increase total alkalinity and maintain between 80 - 120 mg/L. Add sodium bicarbonate to the pool to increase total alkalinity.
203   Inadequate or Lack of up-to-date Pool Safety Plan
Observation: An updated and complete Pool Safety Plan was not available on-site at time of inspection. A completed Pool Safety Plan must be provided and all staff must be trained on what to do in the case of an emergency involving the pool.
Corrective Action: Submit a completed Pool Safety Plan to the Environmental Health Officer to review by the end of next week. Train all staff on what procedures to take in the case of an emergency involving the pool, when to close the pool, how to properly test chemical parameters, etc. Ensure all staff are aware of the Pool Safety Plan.
