Observation: Pool water alkalinity is too low (40 Ppm). Ensure alkalinity is between 80-120 ppm
206   Inadequate or Lack of Posted Rules and/orSignage
Observation: Pool posted signage/rules must be updated to include information about prohibiting entry to pool when patrons have an illness, including open sores, bandages, head colds, discharging ears/noses/infected eyes. Please refer to section 8 of Pool Regulation to ensure posted rules are complete.
305   Improper Maintenance of Pool Surface, Walkways, Floors and/or Construction
Observation: Skimmers did not have weirs instead, a different design was used. However, skimmers around the pool were not providing skimming action to trap floating debris such as scum, lint, hair from re enter the pool. Ensure to repair or replace skimmers so there is adequate removal of floating contaminants
307   Improper Storage of Chemicals
Observation: Chemical oxidizers was stored beside acids/bases. Ensure to storage oxidizers/acids/bases separately and ensure they are well contained in case of spillage. When these chemicals mix they can produce dangerous gases, be highly corrosive, and or cause combustion. Please ensure protective personal equipment is available at all times to handle chemicals. Ensure MSDS is accessible for use.
401   Note Violation
Observation: Flow meters in the treatment systems were observed to be not functioning please repair the flow meter and ensure pool water is flowing at the designed flow rate. A flow rate exceeding the design may indicate a suction hazard where as less than the design may cause inadequate disinfection and turbidity in water
