Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
101 | Improper Water Chemistry/Water Clarity Observation: Combined Available Chlorine (CAC) measured at 2.10ppm. CAC must not exceed 1ppm. Elevated CAC can result in eye/skin irriation and decrease the efficacy of chlorine in the hot tub. Corrective Action: Operator opened up the intake valve to add fresh treated water to the hot tub. This facilitates a partical replacement of the pool water. |
103 | Improper Pool Temperature Observation: Temperature of the hot tub measured at 41°C. Temperature of a hot tub must not exceed 40°C. Too high water temperature can increase the risk of hyperthermia for patrons, and increase chlorine demand due to dissipation. Corrective Action: Operator opened up the intake valve. This adds cold treated water to the hot tub. This facilitates a partial replacement of the pool water with colder water. |
