 Underlying Problems: Treatment upgrades have been completed to handle ongoing source water quality fluctuations. Period of commissioning required to ensure treatment equipment is functioning as intended and Northern Health treatment objectives are being met. As a precaution, water system is being placed on a Boil Water Notice until treatment efficacy can be verified. | |
| Steps Taken to Remedy: Residents have been notified via a printed notice distributed door-to-door by the operator. The notice has also been posted at the treatment plant and the operator's contact informaiton provided in case of questions or concerns from the residents.
Alternate source of potable water provided via a separate hauled water system with a bottle fill station. | |
| Corrective Actions Remaining: Testing of various parameters required on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis of the raw and treated water.
Results to be submitted to Northern Health. Upon receipt of adequate bacteriolgical and physical/chemical test results BWN may be downgraded to WQA to be followed by additional testing. |
