This facility is currently under a Boil Water Notice

     Underlying Problems: Adverse water samples received showing presence of 3 E.Coli and 3 Total Coliforms. Additional information related to underlying problems is unavalable at this time.
     Steps Taken to Remedy: - Boil Water Notice signage is to be put in place and reported back to the EHO. All signage should state that water is to be boiled for a minimum of 1 minute prior to consumption. - Email sent by EHO clarifying well disinfection and sampling process.
     Corrective Actions Remaining: 1. Well disinfection is required. Procedures provided to assist with conducting this process. 2. Two sample results, taken 24 hours apart, showing the absence of Total Coliforms and E.Coli are required prior to EHO assessment for notice removal. Samples results are to be received from an accredited laboratory in BC. 3. Assess the area immediately surrounding the source to confirm that there are no hazards (septic failure) that could have contaminated the water supply. Report findings to the EHO. 4. Upon completion of corrective actions remaining a written agreement is required from the owner/operator stating how they will maintain future sampling frequencies. Otherwise consideration for the reissuace of a WQA should be taken by the rescinding EHO.
