 Underlying Problems: Operator has been consulting with a water design company and, since their source water is very turbid, their UV unit is not effective for disinfection. They are looking to get a reverse osmosis unit for next season. | |
| Steps Taken to Remedy: Sample collected from the kitchen tap on August 28, 2018 came back positive for 210 TC. A boil water notice was issued and the operator was instructed to resample. The kitchen has been using bottled water for food preparation and consumption for the past two years. The operator’s residence mainly use the water system for consumption. The operator was instructed to see if their UV unit was still functional or not. | |
| Corrective Actions Remaining: The operator must submit two sets of bacteriological samples collected at least 24 hours apart. The boil water notice will be rescinded pending satisfactory results. |
