     Underlying Problems: This Notice has been issued because no water sample results for total coliform bacteria or Escherichia coli have been received for over one year. When no monitoring for total coliform bacteria or Escherichia coli is performed, it is not possible demonstrate that the water is potable and that contamination by bacteria has not occurred.
     Steps Taken to Remedy: Environmental Health Officer issued Order to the water supplier instructing them to issue a Water Quality Advisory. See Corrective Actions Remaining and Underlying Problems for more information.
     Corrective Actions Remaining: Owners of public premises served by this water system must: (a) notify the public that a water quality advisory by posting a sign at every sink or drinking water fountain accessible to the public; (b) if normal business practices provide an opportunity, verbally advise any person who may use the domestic water system for a domestic purpose that the a boil water notice is in effect. The water supplier must submit two sets of water samples from the water system to an approved laboratory for testing. The two sets of samples will need to be collected at least 24 hours apart. Satisfactory results (i.e. results that show no detectable total coliform bacteria or Escherichia coli present) will need to be received.
