The well casing also has no lock, hence the need for the fencing. Corrective Action: Repair the fencing to ensure the area is protected and secure or apply a lock on the well casing to protect the well itself. Having an unsecured area may allow for animal, pest, and people entry that could lead to contamination, damage, and vandalism. |
| 320 | Other (specify below) Observation: Signs and evidence of pests in the electrical room for well #4 located on Alberta Drive. Ant nests were found to be next to and on electrical wires. There were ant traps set up around the room. Some piping were filled in with foam to prevent more entry of pests. Corrective Action: Ensure pests and nests are cleaned out and the electric room is cleaned up. Pests may damage electrical wires and other areas of the electrical room which may lead to a hazard. |
