Corrective Action: Disinfection is required on all surface water supplies, by Section 5(2) of the Drinking Water Protection Regulations. 1. Submit bacteriological and chemical samples by July 18th, 201 2. Provide results to a water treatment/purification company or a professional engineer for system design. This is to be completed by August 18th, 2011 3. Complete construction permit based on recommendations and submit to Dave Tamblyn, Public Health Engineer (PHE@northernhealth.ca) for approval. 4. Install system 5. Send Pictures of Installed system 6. Send treated water bacteriological sample. Pending results the system will be removed from the boil water notice. |
