313 | Inadequate treatment Observation: Water system supplies water from a shallow well that is considered Groundwater at Risk of Containing Pathogens (GARP) - essentially surface water, without any disinfection. System is currently under a Boil Water Notice. Corrective Action: Potable water must be supplied for domestic purposes. Use a potable water source or adequately treat your water source to ensure it meets the Provincial treatment objectives for GARP water sources (4-3-2-1-0). A Permit to Construct must be issued by the Public Health Engineer before any new construction may commence on the water system. Please contact your local Environmental Health Officer for more details. Complete by July 2019. |
