Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
Code | Description / Observation / Corrective Action |
313 | Critical Inadequate treatment Observation: Water from this source is considered to be surface water and treatment is required Corrective Action: Two forms of treatment are required that meet the surface water treatment objectives supported by the Province and Northern Health. A long term improvement plan for this system is required by 2018. This plan will assign next steps for action that will include either plans for treatment and proposed dates for completion or plans to assess the current system, by an approved professional, to determine next steps for treatment in the future. It is expected that if the water users community cannot come up with a solution, in consultation with the Health Authority, then a professional is to be contracted to provide potential solutions to the water users community. |
320 | Other (specify below) Observation: Operator must successfully complete an approved Small Water System training course Corrective Action: This is to be completed by November 2017. Contact is required with the Environmental Health Officer once registered and a copy of certificate provided upon completion. |
