The well's vent/overflow outlet was too close to the soil, moses and vegetation debris. (Public Health Significance) - Soil, plant debris, insects and surface run-off can contaminate the water source through the vent/overflow outlet, which may lead to the presence of Total Coliform or even E. Coli in the drinking water. Corrective Action: Operator to repair the well structure, ensuring the lid can completely seal off to prevent contamination. Operator to ensure that the vent or overflow outlet is properly maintained to prevent contaminants from contaminating the water source. |

(Public Health Significance) regular water chemistry testing can keep track of the change in water chemistry, ensuring any presence of toxic chemicals in the water can be addressed properly in a timely manner. Corrective Action: Operator to arrange for water chemistry testing as soon as possible and submit the laboratory result to Northern Health. Operator to test for water chemistry every 3 years. |
