Corrective Action: a) It is important to slope impermeable soil (clay-type soil) away from the well so as to prevent contaminated surface waters from reaching the well casing and infiltrating the well. b) Please ensure that the flowing artesian outflow is screened, so as to be fly-proof at all times to reduce the risk of bacteriological and rodent contamination of the water source. |
