Observation: Total coliform counts have occured in 7 of 26 samples since August 21, 2017 (26.92%)
Corrective Action: A boil water notice was issued by the Town of Smithers on Friday September 01, 2017. Identify source of contamination and remove and/or disinfect and flush system in an attempt to remove the souce of contamination. This process/procedure used should be that of an approved standard method of disinfection to ensure proper concentrations and times are being identified and measured thoughout the process.

Observation: Emergency Response Plan requires updates.
Corrective Action: An Emergency Response Plan is available but updates are required at this time. Review of the current plan should be completed by November 01, 2017.

Observation: Access to a responsible person to apply adverse water emergency response protocol required at all times.
Corrective Action: A system for coordination, outside normal operating hours, is required. A copy of the Emergency Response Plan is to be quickly accessible to all potentially responsible parties.
