The maximum acceptable concentration for manganese per the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality is 0.12 mg/L. A construction permit has been issued for installation of manganese treatment. Treatment system has been installed but is not yet effectively removing manganese from the drinking water supply. Corrective Action: Make necessary adjustments to the configuration of the treatment equipment to ensure it is functioning optimally. Submit pre- and post-treatment samples for manganese to verify treatment efficacy. |
