Observation: There were signs of mouse droppings in and around Pumphouse #1.
Corrective Action: Please replace the rubber stripping under the door to prevent pest access and place traps to prevent continued harbourage. Traps should be checked often.

Observation: 1. Health Authority has no record of community water system operator certification. 2. Health Authority has not received an "Emergency Response Plan" as required by Drinking Water Protection Act.
Corrective Action: 1. Please provide copies of certification/training of CWS operators. 2. "Emergency Response Plan" guide was sent to the District of Stewart. This is to be completed and returned to Northern Health by August 31, 2011.

Observation: Small Water System EOCP certification is required for operators of waterworks systems of 15-300 connections. The Stewart Community water system exceeds this number of connections but the Small Water System Course is acceptable in this case.
Corrective Action: An operator is to be registered in a Small Water Systems course by September 1, 2011. Confirmation is to be made when this course has been completed
