Given the source water, the water system requires treatment in order to ensure the water is microbiologically safe for users of the water system. Corrective Action: Please develop an action plan for installing water treatment works. Filtration to knock down turbidity, along with two disinfection barriers (e.g. UV as primary, chlorine as secondary) is recommended. Please consult with the EHO and PHE when assessing treatment options. Any installations of water treatment works require a construction permit prior to install. |
