Observation: Soup cup observed being used to scoop chicken base.
Corrective Action: Ensure that only scoops with a handle are used to prevent contamination.
301  Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Heavy dust build-up observed on the fan guards of walk-in cooler. Dust could harbour bacterial spores and contaminate food.
Corrective Action: Ensure that fan guards are included in the cleaning check list and cleaned atleast once per month.
311   Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: Unshielded light bulbs observed at dry food storage area.
Corrective Action: Ensure that all light bulbs at dry storage area are shatter proof or are covered to prevent potential contamination from broken glasses.
