Animal contact with food increases likelihood of contamination of those food products with pathogens, specifically toxoplasmosis caused by a parasite in cat faeces. This poses an extreme hazard to pregnant workers + patrons. This is a repeat violation (2008/04/21) Corrective Action: Cat was removed from premise and placed into office. Ensure the facility is kept animal free from now on. |
