Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description
309  Critical Cross connection
Observation: A bypass is in place which allows untreated water to enter distribution system. Bypass valve was open at time of inspection. Although raw water sampling has been satisfactory to date, there is no information to determine that the shallow well source is not at risk of containing pathogens. Shallow well supplies generally require disinfection until it is established that they are not at risk of contamination.
Corrective Action: Remove bypass or otherwise submit proposal of a bypass design accepted by Northern Health. Until bypass is addressed, do not allow untreated water into the system unless precautions to protect users are taken and the distribution has been flushed and disinfected following entry (or possible entry) of untreated water.
