A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code   Description
317  Critical Inadequate or improper construction of water works
Observation: (REPEAT VIOLATION) Well casing is located in a well pit. Well casing was extended, however the well pit was not backfilled. Pipe located near the bottom of the well pit suggests that it may be periodically flooded.
Corrective Action: The area where the well is located may be subject to storm water run off during heavy rainfalls and spring melt, which could infiltrate the well pit and potentially enter the well by flowing down the outside of the casing. The well pit is to be backfilled and sealed with a surface seal (as outlined in the BC Groundwater Protection Regulation) prior to October 31, 2007.
318   Inadequate Microbiological Analysis data
Observation: Bacteriological water sample overdue. The last sample was scheduled to be submitted in June.
Corrective Action: Submit bacteriological samples for testing as soon as reasonably possible.
319   Inadequate Chemical Analysis Data
Observation: According to our files the last physical/chemical analysis of the drinking water was done in 2002.
Corrective Action: Water sample to be submitted to a BC approved laboratory for chemical/physical analysis prior to October 31, 2007 or forward any more recent results to our office.
