Observation: Ensure well head is protected.Observed a rusted steel barrel used to cover the well head that is not capped; the top lid can be pushed down. It is prone to contamination such as bird droppings and surface run off during spring or heavy rain flooding. Well head sticks up 1.5 feet from the ground. (Well head needs to be extended further to prevent contamination from nature source.)
Corrective Action: Well head requires attention 3 feet from the ground and capping/sealing. Construction of protective structure over well head and a physical barring to protect vehicles from driving over it or skidoo riding over it in the winter season. Correction required by November 30, 2013.
319   Inadequate Chemical Analysis Data
Observation: chemical sampling needs to be done every 3 years. (Conducting a chemical sample testing from an accredited lab eg. ALS or Exova and send a copy of testing result to the Fort St. John Health Unit by November 30, 2013)
Corrective Action: Have a NH required chemical testing analysis done by November 30, 2013 at an accredited lab and send a copy of the result to the Health Unit.
