Observation: Raw shell egg observed stored above ready-to-eat hard boiled eggs. This could lead to contamination of ready-to-eat foods.
Corrective Action: Ensure that raw shell eggs and all other raw animal proteins are stored below ready-to-eat foods.
301  Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: In-use ice scoop observed stored on top of ice machine. The surface of ice machine is not sanitary to store clean scoop.
Corrective Action: Ensure that ice scoop is stored in a clean container.
305   Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: A gap larger than a quarter of an inch observed under the back door. This may allow entry of pests into the food premise.
Corrective Action: Ensure that a door sweep is installed.
308   Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Chipped and severely damaged plastic spatulas observed being used. use of damaged utensils could result in physical contamination of food.
Corrective Action: Ensure that all damaged utensils are replaced.
