209 Repeat Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) A tray of raw squid was observed in the walk-in cooler stored uncovered and open to contamination. Contamination of food form contact with objects, people, pests or chemicals can cause serious illness.
Corrective Action: Operator explained that the uncovered squid was remainder from the previous night and to be discarded. Operator voluntarily discarded the item during the inspection.
