Observation: Walk-in refridgeration unit was still missing an emergency release button.
Corrective Action: Operator is currently exploring options for replacing the release button. Have a release button installed as soon as possible.
302Critical Repeat Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) ECOLAB Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant was still being used throughout the premise.
Corrective Action: The operator has already contacted their chemical supplier ECOLAB to arrange for a proper food contact surface sanitizer within the next week. The operator has agreed to switch to bleach based sanitizer solution (200 ppm with test strips) until they obtain food contact surface sanitizer.
