CCALA Section 5 - Licensing: The operator admitted in an interview to caring for more than two children who were not related by blood of marriage over an extended period of time from November 2019-March 2020.

Conclusion and Recommendations:
After site visit to care provider's address it was determined through interview with operator that the operator had been providing care in contravention of Section 5 of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act. Providing care for too many children while being unlicensed to provide that care.

On April 3rd, 2020, the care provider submitted to licensing email confirmation that she released one family and is currently only caring for one sibiling group along with her own children.
