Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Some preparation utensils contained dry breading ingredients them in the dry storage area as a result of a spill. Staff stated that the spill occurred yesterday. The breading dry ingredient was being stored in a bag inside a cardboard box.
Corrective Action(s): Staff re-located the preparation utensils to the 3-compartment sink to wash, rinse, and sanitize them. Please clean up any spills immediately and make sure all food contact surfaces are kept in a clean condition in storage areas.

Please obtain a food grade sealed container (with a lid) to store the open bag of dry ingredients. For the time being, make sure the bag is kept tied.

Comments

All three handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Walk-in-cooler and other refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C.
Front display cooler is used for storage of pop and juice only.
Freezer temperatures were satisfactory.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
No signs of recent pest activity were observed at the time of inspection.
Backdoor had a screen in place.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available in the spray bottle.
Food grade materials (saran wrap) was being used to cover pizza dough and containers.
Bottle of degreaser was properly labelled.

Note: Take-out containers in their original packaging were moved from the shelving unit in the staff washroom to the shelving unit in the dry storage room. Make sure all single-use service utensils, food equipment, etc. is stored outside of the staff washroom to protect them from contamination.
