Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A cloth towel was observed to be wrapped around the handle of the walk-in-cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Discontinue practice of covering the walk-in-cooler handle with a cloth towel since it is absorbent. Surfaces are required to be durable, easy to clean, smooth, and impervious to moisture (non-absorbent). Staff removed the towel from the handle of the walk-in-cooler door.

Comments

Both handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C.
Walk-in-freezer temperature was satisfactory.
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C.
Time-tracking procedures up to 4 hours maximum were in place for baked potentially hazardous food sold at ambient temperature.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in a spray bottle in the front service area.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available in a sanitizer pail in the back area.
2-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Two sink plugs were available.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Food storage areas were clean and organized.
Staff member with valid FOODSAFE Level 1 course training (expiration date: September 25, 2023) was available on shift.
