POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13010 - CCLR s.22(1)(a) - A licensee must have all of the following: (a) emergency exits and a fire drill system approved by a local assistant within the meaning of the Fire Services Act.
Observation: The fire extinguisher did not have a tag indicating if and when it was serviced.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that a system is in place to service the fire extinguisher annually as required by the Fire Services Act.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13050 - CCLR s.56(1)(c) - A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].
Observation: Licensee was not able to provide a record of the monthly fire drills, but stated that it was conducted.
Corrective Action(s): Licensee has stated that a system will be in place for recording fire drills, please ensure that it is followed.

RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19090 - CCLR s.57(2)(c) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
Observation: Review of the attendance records had missing times of arrivals and departures for the days of January-14 to 21-2021 for 1 child.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that children's attendance records demonstrate time of arrival and departure.
