Inspection in response to ownership change
-No changes to layout proposed.
-New menu submitted
-Food safety procedures + sanitation procedures
-Copy of Foodsafe level 1 certificate for the Operator and staff submitted
-All coolers were at 4C or colder
-Walk - in freezer was at -21C

Approval to operate is not granted at this time. The following items must be addressed and a follow up inspection conducted:

Repair dishwasher. Mechanism to start cycle not working properly. Ensure rinse temperature is adequate to sanitize dishes (82C on gauge).

Repair/replace door on sliding door cooler (Cornelius). Currently it does not close properly and tape + foam have been affixed to it.

Repair/replace seal on prep cooler (Coldtech) as seal is falling off and door does not close tightly.

Supply paper towel to handsinks.

Supply bleach for the purpose of sanitizing food contact surfaces

Thoroughly clean all surfaces to remove all food debris + grease. Clean + sanitize interior of ice machine.
Remove any surfaces which aren't in good repair (ie. damaged wooden counter top) and replace with those of suitable material. Must smooth + washable.

Once the above is complete contact the District Inspector for a follow up inspection
Approval to operate (ie permit) must be granted prior to opening
