Handsink (Double-compartment sink) was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Cooler was at or below 4 degrees C.
Freezer component was at or below -18 degrees C.
Thermometers were available in the cooler and freezer.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside a labelled spray bottle.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
Dishwashing is conducted in the Church kitchen. High temperature dishwasher final rinse temperature was at 81 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) at the plate level.
Batteries of the probe thermometer were replaced during the inspection since it was displaying an "error" sign. Probe thermometer was in good working order upon replacing the batteries.
No raw meat is used on-site. Menu includes ready to eat food (sandwiches, salads, and fruit) and reheated food (pizza, soup, and boiled eggs).
It was reviewed that food that undergoes the reheating/cooking process must reach an internal temperature of at least 74 degrees C prior to serving it.

-Note: A new staff member has joined in September 2019 and stated that they are registered for a FOODSAFE Level 1 course on October 6, 2019. Please provide a copy of their valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate or temporary certificate to the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health (business card was provided).
-The requirement is for the Operator and at least one employee in their absence on shift to hold a valid (unexpired) B.C FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent course certificate. A printout of the BCCDC "Food Handlers Training Courses Equivalent to BC FOODSAFE Level 1" (January 2019) was provided.
