Observation: Pink buildup noted on the head of the dish sink sprayer.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitze the dish sink sprayer head and remember to clean this equipment when the dishwashing area is scheduled for cleaning.

Observation: None of the staff/ food handlers on-site has FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent in the absence of the operator.
Corrective Action(s): Have at least one other staff member, who will be present when the operator is not on-site, sign up for FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent. Operator may send a copy or proof of completion of course to the area inspector (business card provided during the inspection) or show the area inspection upon the follow-up inspection.
In British Columbia, under the Food Premises Regulation (B.C. Reg. 210/99), section 10, that in the absence of the operator, the operator must ensure that at least one employee present in the establishment holds FOODSAFE or its equivalent.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: No sanitizer was available during inspection. Production was occurring during the inspection.
Correction: **Issue corrected at the time of inspection**
Sanitizer spray bottle was filled during the inspection. 200 ppm QUAT detected in the spray bottle.
Sanitizer MUST always be available especially during production so work station or equipment can be sprayed down with sanitizer when required.
Comments

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff washroom, accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
Note: Paper towel in the back of house preparation area was not loaded into the paper towel dispenser. Load the paper towel in the dispenser to avoid contaminating the roll which may dirty the hand after washing when used.
All refrigeration units were at 4C or below.
All freezer units were at -18C or below.
Food was stored protected and off the floor.
200 ppm QUAT available in the sanitizer spray bottle. 200 ppm QUAT was also detected and prepared in the 2-compartment sink for manual warewashing - good.
No sign of pest activities noted during the inspection.
Overall organization and cleanliness satisfactory.
