Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Previous Inspection - Not Applicable
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated Dec. 20, 2018 there were 4 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
During inspection Licensing noted that the backyard area has been renovated. Licensing reminds the Licensee to send a site plan to Licensing showing the renovated space including the measurements on it.
During inspection Licensing observed children engaged in free play outside and then inside.
During inspection Licensing observed staff interacting with children while they were engaged in activities, staff gave warnings before transitions and assisted with problem solving when necessary.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
