Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hand washing station at coffee bar not supplied with paper towel during inspection. Paper towel was placed at hand washing station during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Maintain all designated hand washing stations unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel at all times to promote proper, frequent hand washing by staff.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice machine observed covered with a black garbage bag and the broken ice machine door was observed stored directly in the ice during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Place a food grade protective cover over the ice machine until the door is repaired. Do not store anything directly in the ice to prevent potential contamination of ice. Alternatively, turn off the ice machine and purchase bagged ice until the ice machine door is repaired.

Observation: Ventilation canopy in the kitchen is observed with build-up of grease and food debris.
Corrective Action(s): Degrease and clean the ventilation canopy to remove grease and food debris build up and to prevent contamination of food. Ensure to clean the ventilation canopy more frequently (as per approved sanitation plan) to prevent grease build up.

Observation: Ice machine door observed broken. Staff stated that the parts are on order.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the ice machine door to ensure the ice is protected from potential contamination at all times. Purchase bagged ice as an alternative to using the ice in the ice machine.

- No hot-holding on site
- Temperature logs are maintained - good!
- General sanitation of premise is satisfactory
- Hand washing stations in staff washroom, kitchen and bar are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- QUATs sanitizer measured at 200 ppm QUATs concentration with test strip (X3 bottles)
- Iodine glasswasher measured at 12.5ppm iodine concentration
- Chemical dishwasher measured at 100 ppm chlorine concentration with test strip
- 2-compartment sink available with drain plugs
- All food stored covered and at least 6 inches off the floor
- First-in-first-out method is in use
- No signs of pests during inspection
- Pest control company is contracted to complete monthly inspections
- FOODSAFE Level 1 trained staff is available on site
