Vacuum packaging machine still on site. It was noted in the previous inspection reports and discussed at the compliance meeting at the Burnaby Health Protection office with the Health Protection manager that this equipment is to be removed by the follow up inspection.
Live tanks downstairs still on site with live crab (king crab noted) in them at time of inspection. The premises was issued an order in the past to ensure not have any live seafood or related equipment (live tanks) on the premises. A violation ticket was issued during the compliance meeting for failure to comply with the order.
Also noted several large pots on a shelving unit at time of inspection. Staff said they do not use these equipment.
Closure order issued at time of inspection. Operator is to remove all equipment not approved/related to the business, including but not limited to, live tanks, live crabs, vacuum packaging machine.
