Observation: Large pots which were being used for soup base are still present in the premises. These pots are too large to fit in the dishwashing sink. In addition, the premises is not large enough in capacity to cool the quantity of product from this pot.
Corrective Action(s): Remove these pots from the premises. Do not store in the storage room either. Correction date: July 7/17

Observation: Manager not present. No staff on duty have Foodsafe level 1 training.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was repaired/serviced (invoice provided by Manager via email on the evening of June 30). Temperature of cooler was 3C. Cooler temperatures msut be monitored and action taken if temperature is above 4C
-Liquid soap and paper towel supplied at handsinks
-Bulb replaced in heat lamp. Temperature of spring rolls was >60C
-Noted soup had been portioned into smaller containers and was cooling in an ice bath at the time of the inspection.
