Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Place mats on tables are washed and rinsed but not sanitized.
Corrective Action(s): Use a food service sanitizer for sanitizing placemats after they have been cleaned. The sanitizer in spray bottle meets this requirement as discussed. Staff to use all sanitizers as per label.

Routine check of 2nd floor care side servery.
Servery is for hot holding and cold holding food as well as serving to residents. No reheating or cooking.
Fridge temperature is 4C/40F or colder. Thermometer is in fridge. ***Temperature records are to be kept daily (not checked today).
Hot holding is at 60C/140F or hotter.
Hand washing sink has liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold water.
For place mats and food contact surfaces, use a food service sanitizer - see above.
Disinfectant is used on tables, chairs, non-food contact surfaces.
Ice machine, cupboards etc. cleaning - satisfactory.
No obvious signs of pests.
