Corrections made: -Prep cooler shelving and inside have been thoroughly cleaned -Floor in prep area has been thoroughly cleaned (improvement still needed in flooring by the dishwashing area)--> operator will also be re-painting the floor to ensure it is smooth/easy to clean -Paper towels now available at back handwash sink. -Operator is no longer serving/cooking the bison meat (ensure to either remove it from the menu or place up sign indicating that it is no longer offered). No bison meat was on premises at time of inspection. Still requiring attention: -Operator uses the panini grills for precooked chicken breast as well as pre cooked turkey bacon. There is no commercial ventilation/fumehood. The meats are placed in the grill to reheat and then served. The menu was approved by previous district EHO when the facility was granted health approval to operate. The City of Surrey fire department has been contacted to verify the original approval of cooking meats (even though they are pre-cooked, there is still some smoke being produced). You may be required to re-heat your pre-cooked meats using an alternate method that does not produce grease vapors/smoke or install a fumehood, pending further investigation.
